The Diamond's Journey

From Earth's Mantle to the Apex of Creation

Today I dare to affirm! No more apologies to the nihilists. 
You must reinvent in light and fire. 
What, you think the diamond doesn't undergo torment in its transformation?
Where is it born?
In the very mantle of the earth itself.
What, you think there is no pain in extreme heat and pressure?

Your becoming is linked forever to its source.
The diamond; carbon's dream made manifest.
You are in your incarnation.
And yet don't see how brightly you burn.

You are not a spell of the nothingness.
You do not pursue your dream for the reward. 
You do it because you must!
It's that must-ness that links you to all eternity.
You are that stardust that dared to form a planet!
If you are left stranded in infinity: so be it!
Reconcile with that which you are, that which you choose.

Destroy the part of you that wishes for it to all workout.
It bonds you only to the desperate dream of the masses.
Your power is formed far beyond the vagaries of validation.
You are electric fire, raging in the deepest void.
You are carbon. 
The dark room is your pressing.
Dare to dream!
Dare to howl into the darkness.
That howl is frozen in the act of crystallisation.
Your despair latticed into the shape of a diamond.
Your suffering;  transformed at the apex of the bearable.

What?
Don't you see it is its very pain that forms its crystalline state?
It is not vanquished by the tonnage, it is forged by the breaking itself!
At the moment of atomisation.
Godhead.

And how do you think the diamond forces its way from earth's mantle to its surface?
It surfs upon a wave of volcanic activity!
While other elements dissolve, it journeys on within the larva itself.
What does it say?

"I am at hand!
I am alive!
I shall rise through the hell fires and I will manifest into the light.
Fools!
Can't you see this star is forged in Hades itself?
Do you think I care that it takes a million years?
I suffered a billion!"

What do you say to the void?
What makes it cower before you?
When it realises no part of you is afraid anymore.

And yes, it is a choice.
To manifest; despite the suffering, the betrayal, the hurt and the indifference.
That which is meant to crush you ends up making you.

What emerges in your darkest moment?
Reckless courage.

That is what you discover when you can be broken no more.
Your atoms are folded until recast as Cathedral.
Refracting conjoined pyramids.
Tough as anything in existence. 
At the last, you became emblematic of nature itself.

That is how transformation happens.
Daring to become other than you were meant to be.

Do not underestimate this journey.

A butterfly needs its cocoon.
A resurrection needs its cave.
A diamond needs its pressure.

You are more than you can possibly realise.
Don't forget it.
