Newton's 3rd Law of Motion

jimkroft.substack.com
One body exerts a force of equal measure on another.
Is this not how things shift?

We are dismayed when outcome doesn’t match our effort.

But for humans, reality is also bound to the spirit.
And so our efforts don't show themselves linearly:

They disappear only to be discovered down the road.
Like light transforming from waveform to particle.

We too often resent invisible things.

In the modern world:
It is not "real" unless it gratifies instantly.
Don't fall into the collective illusion:

You sacrifice
Not that God appears,
But so a "no" today
Morphs into a greater "yes" tomorrow.

We live in a displaced reality.
Understand that:

1) failure is a form of friction which stimulates growth
2) perseverance binds your dream to its materialisation.
3) sacrifice is an act of faith in your future

Dear friends,

I had a lot of fun playing around with DALL-E trying to generate an image for this article. In the end, I used one of my own photos above as it feels more personal. But, I thought I’d drop a couple in below.

What I find interesting is how you have to work at it to find something that fits your mind's eye. It’s a curiously creative experience. To coax the program continuously with tweaks, and dial in more precisely what you’re after.

It’s completely bonkers. The implications of AI are replicating before our eyes. I’ve been noting my thoughts and will collect them soon into an essay.

For now, here is an hour lost in the matrix, mashing Francis Bacon, “The Scream”, A Beautiful Mind, Turner, Asylum Art, and somewhere in there, 1940’s photography.

The result? Exactly how my jumbled mind feels about AI!

Much love, x Jim
