Dear friends,
This week took a strange turn: I was chased by packs of wolves, dodged exploding cars, boarded intergalactic spaceships — and, um, found a duplicate of myself sitting beside me.
Without quite meaning to, I fell into the weird world of AI filmmaking. I’d kept it at arm’s length because I was sceptical about its real-world application at this early stage in the tech.
However, I really want to incorporate Wolves into the video for “Wolves at the Door” and, as such, decided it was time to experiment. Most AI videos I’ve seen are built from generative photos. I was curious: what would happen if I started with real-world footage instead?
As such, I decided to dive in and do my own testing. I was quite shocked by the results!
I hope it brings a smile to your face —
Happy Easter, everyone!
Jim
Kooky, scary, cool & as you say, surprising too!😎 Happy Easter to you too dear Jamie!🐣😍
This was very fun and it‘s so interesting to see some of your other talents and work. For me KI is ok, but can also be disappointing. In the movie „another german tank story“, a really calm and direct movie was a little highlight the tank. And I really was wondering, how they managed to get a real one to the set. The cast came to the cinema and were answering questions afterwards and somehow I was disappointed to hear the tank was only KI. It took the illusion and the fun away, because the film seemed to be so authentic. But the dead bunny was for real… KI needs to be visually funny or so good, that I better not need to know.
